In August 2006 The Australian Road Train Association held a very successful truck show in Dubbo and, as part of that show, the Golden Oldies Truck Club put on a display of 115 exhibits of yesteryear, much to the delight of the thousands of enthusiasts comprising past and present drivers, operators, owners and the general public.

The support we received was overwhelming, with clubs from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and the Central Coast as well as individual eshibitors from all over New South Wales joining our (then) 79 local members.
